I have a real hard time with console sims.. When they make one where you can incorporate a full HOTAS, rudder pedals & TIR I'd probably be able to get into it.

Nothing boring there.. isn't it just incredible the way those 64 squares can seem to become an entire world unto themselves ..

Oh what a little imagination can do!  It's a real fun, exciting and challenging game. I only mentioned boring as others are talking about the wonderful graphical games.

I'm trying to decide between playing Batman or Skyrim over the Thanksgiving break. I love Batman, but Skyrim has been receiving a lot of hype. I just don't think I have that much time to pour into a video game, though.

I'm trying to decide between playing Batman or Skyrim over the Thanksgiving break. I love Batman, but Skyrim has been receiving a lot of hype. I just don't think I have that much time to pour into a video game, though.

Winner: Skyrim

The game is EPIC.  You look off in the distance and see huge snow covered mountains and they aren't just for show...you can actual go to and climb each one (complete with caves and points of interest on them).  You can join guilds (warrior guilds, thief guild, mage guild) and even get married.  There are over 100 caves to explore and tons of side missions.  Oh, and there are dragons.  Not one, but SEVERAL.  You could be in the middle of a city and you hear the flapping of his wings and he starts attacking and all the city dwellers join you.  Or if you're in the middle of fighting someone and a dragon attacks you join forces to fight the dragon.

It's a fantastic game.
