After having Skyrim since right after Thanksgiving, I finally sat down and started the other day.   Wow.  I'm glad that I have a wife, 2 kids, a job, housework, and church activities to fill my days.  If not, I would be playing that game all day.  I'm just getting started, but it is very enjoyable.

Finally got a new game for the PS3. Gonna take a crack at this Golden Eye Reloaded when I get off of work. I hope it takes care of killer/sniper/stealth fix I have.

Anyone have this game what's it like if you do?

Dude, you need to trade it in for Deus Ex: Human Revolution.  THAT game will take care of ALL of that for you.

Sure will.  One of the few games on my No Trade list.

I'll have to check it out. I'm so far behind in the gaming world I don't know what's what anymore if not something that's a remake or that exists from a title i've played before.

Can one of you give me a little background info on the game so I'll know what I'm getting in to

It's really a lot to explain so I suggest looking up the review on ign.com  They have a long detailed explanation.

I used to have Golden Eye on the N64. To me, it was a truly enjoyable game. I had hours of fun playing through the solo campaign. The best part of the game was the multiplayer.

Perfect Dark was much better than Golden Eye though.

However, I think there are better FPS out there. Deus Ex, Borderlands, e.t.c. :)

The main character is an ex-cop who runs security for a high-tech company that makes augmentations.  That's all I'm going to give as the game is SO cool it doesn't matter what it's about.

You. will. love it!! I'm putting my personal guarantee on it as a guy who doesn't go out and buy a whole lot of games.

Is Skyrim available via download?  If so, I think I'll download it tonight.

Ended up buying NBA 2k12.  I'm enjoying the changes they've made.  Seems like they heard my gripes.

Speaking of which, I got Skyrim yesterday. Turns out my laptop can't handle it, even on the low quality setting. :(

Yeah, I saw when you posted that.  Sorry to hear.  I was going to download it on the PS3.  It's not available via download.  Since I ended up buying 2k12, I may wait on Skyrim.

I have that too.  If you download the PS store add-on you can use legends in career mode (Creating a Legend).

I'm so lethal with Larry Legend.   8)

OAN I'm still very much in love with Skyrim.

I got my Enchanting and Smithing skills up to 100.  That means I have now enchanted my sick Dragonscale armor set to make me the baddest man in Skyrim.  I enchanted two pieces of armor, a ring, and a necklace with the -25% Destruction Cost enchantment.  It reduces the amount of Magic Points I would need to cast Destruction spells.  Since I enchanted FOUR items with the -25% enchantment that means Destruction spells (Fire, Ice, Lightning) are now free.  I can cast an unlimited amount.  Also, once you reach lvl 100 Enchanting you can unlock a perk that lets you place TWO enchantments on an item, so all my items, including my swords, have two enchantments.  I am so lethal now.   :)
