They don't have control options in the game that you can use to look at the controls?

I read both. If something's missing in one, it'll probably be in the other ;)

Really?  I know they tell you about it during the game as I never read the manuals.

unless I missed it (I wouldn't put that by me lol) I don't recall it being mentioned in the game.  I got tired of paying to repair my equipment and was reading the manual on how to make some money and stumbled across it...

I hear you. I didn't mind paying, and I would do chick's side missions to get her to do repairs for less (and, I think she'd give manuals in game letting you know what parts you'd need to fix stuff yourself; either that, or you could find manuals in the game that told you).

I will say after the update to Fallout 3 there were more instructions about certain aspects of the game which was very helpful...

Hey, if you all dont have Google Chrome as your default web browser, you may wanna look into it. They have apps (just like a phone) that you can download and use to enhance your browser. and the games they have, are not too bad...

I bought Dead Space 2.  Haven't played it yet.

I've been playing Monster Hunter Freedom Unite a lot.  Like....a LOT.

Im on Chapter 8 of Dead Space 2. The game is scary, entertaining, exciting, interesting all at the same time.  Its much more challenging than the first one. The sparsity of supplies and ammo makes Isaac sort of a scavenger, which means he has to dare to deviate from his course to look for supplies.  The game keeps you on your toes and alert at all times and the monsters are ruthless.

Its good Sci Fi horror which I can tolerate. Though I love the scary games, I will never purchase or play Silent Hill 2. While it is the top rated creepy game for the moment, the concepts and logic of the creators are far too twisted for me.

I STILL haven't touched it.  I'll definitely give it a go though.

Any recommendations for a FF-like RPG for the PS3?

Nope.

This is the age of the shooter.  If there was a good traditional PS3 RPG I'd own it already.   :(

Just get a PC and you can take your pick. :)
