Here is a series of chords that was taught to me during a conference with Timothy Wright. If you're playing a song with a drive in C#, try implementing this breakdown sequence.
1-----A/F#A/F#BE
2,3,4-B/F#B/AbC#F#
1-----F#/AC#/EAC#
2,3,4-Ab/F#C/EAbB
1-----A/F#A/F#BE
2,3,4-B/F#B/AbC#F#
1-----F#/AC#/EAC#
2-----B/BC#F#/ABC#E
3,4---E/E/F#AbB/C#EbF#
NOTE: I added some extra notes in the left hand to make it sound more full. I'm trying to get out of the habit of playing chords only in the right hand. To get the actual sound that I use, eliminate repeating notes from the chord and place them all in the right hand.
Feedback will be greatly appreciated along with suggestions and improvements.
