Wow!! Miami wins Game 6 103-100 in OT. Spurs virtually gave this game and maybe their best chance for a title away. Missed FTs and potentially some missed calls cost Spurs this game. I've said Miami in 7 at beginning of these Finals and I said Miami to win it all from day 1 of this season. I'm going down with the ship! I think Spurs gave up their best hope for the title tonight. Can Spurs win game 7? Of course, but Game 7 rises and falls on Lebron's play and Miami's defense. If Lebron plays aggressive throughout entire game and Miami's defense is on point for 48 minutes, Miami repeats. Green and Ginobili must play better for Spurs to have any chance.

Only a Game 7 win can heal the pain I feel tonight. :(

I've never been this deflated after a game. So many things went wrong I don't even know where to begin. Manu Ginobili has seriously VEXED me this whole series, but tonight was probably the icing on the cake. I never thought I'd see the day where I question Pop's competency, but whatever is driving him to keep Manu Ginobili in the game after EIGHT FRIGGIN TURNOVERS is beyond me. Manu has become a CANCER to this team. I cringe every time he touches the ball.

The only silver lining is this: Parker, Green and Neal did not play well. Three stars not playing well and we still, for all intents and purposes, won the game. They will play better in Game 7.

In the meantime, I'm going to bed with a heavy heart.

And as much as I abhor going here, something must be said about this officiating. They dipped their hand in the cookie jar a few too many times. From stopping us from advancing the ball with five seconds left in regulation to the two CLEAR fouls that were NOT called in the final seconds of overtime. Bosh's knee was BURIED in Danny's stomach as he shot that three.

But Stern got the Game 7 he wanted, so whatever.

As far as the officiating is concerned, I feel the officials were consistent- consistently bad!  There were missed calls on both sides of the ball.  So, the no-call at the end was appropriate, IMO.
In other news...What a game!  What a series!  This is why I love the NBA!

LMBO at the Miami fans who left and were trying to get back into the game.  They didn't let them fair weather jerks back in LOL.  That fan base is a laughing stock.  I know it isn't all of them but it's enough.

ATL fans aren't that much better but sheesh  ;D ;D ;D

A no-call in a Finals game with the championship on the line is never appropriate.

There were no-calls all game.  To make that call at that time would have been inconsistent and, therefore, inappropriate.

Mark my words, tomorrow night, the San Antonio Spurd WILL be crowned your NBA champions. If I have to eat those words, I'll gladly do so, but I've watched this team long enough to know their heart, know their toughness, and know their mentality. This is not how out story will end.

Would you like those words baked? Fried? With a side salad? With fries?  Either way, you'll be eating those words.  As amazingly as the Spurs have played, the resolve of LeBron James and Miami's big 3 will shine through.

Tonight's game is hard to call.  The logical mind says Miami wins it going away.  However, nothing in this series has followed a logical path especially considering the winner from game to game.  On the other hand logic may say that San Antonio will win because games have been going back and forth for the whole series.  So it's San Antonio's time to win right?  The winner of game 1 wins 62%(21-8) of the time since 1984 but 0-2 in the past 2 seasons. The winner of game game 3 and game 5 have similar or better numbers.  However the winner of Game 7 winz 100% of the tyme.

April 23, 1957: Boston Celtics 125, St. Louis Hawks 123 (2OT)

Celtics rookies Bill Russell and Tommy Heinsohn combined for 56 points and 55 rebounds, and sixth man Frank Ramsey scored 10 points in the first overtime to carry Boston. The Hawks’ Bob Pettit scored 39 points, but the Celtics pulled away to win the first of their 17 NBA titles, still the winningest franchise in league history.

I don't see it. Feels like it's going to be decided by the 3rd quarter.

And my prediction is correct!! Miami Heat take the title in 7 with the final score of 95-88 and are back to back champs! I do believe that this series is more about Spurs giving it up than Heat winning it, but the bottomline is that Miami is the champs again! If a such thing exists, Miami is a team of destiny. Two times in these playoffs they were suppose to be done (Hibbert out in final possession of game 2 and if he'd be in I believe Indiana wins that series in 6 and Spurs giving the title away in game 6). Congrats to the Spurs for doing what many thought couldn't be done. Most had Lakers and OKC in the Finals. Spurs took advantage of opportunity and got to the Finals. What a season it's been. I won't make a prediction yet (way too early) but depending on what happens in the offseason a case could be made that Miami should be favored for a 3peat (4th consecutive final appearance).

Well, Lebron & the boys did it again. This win was bigger than basketball, in my opinion. I could care less who wins the NBA finals, that's why I didn't watch one second of the finals. I care more about who wins in life & Lebron is a big winner. He has made all the nay sayers & racist & some of you, who hopped on the "I hate Lebron James" band wagon look stupid. The white media & some dumb brothas have tried their best to make him look like some type of villain & he just continues to proves, if God is for you, who can be against you. The only reason why it's not a 3 peat is because, his first year all the pressure got to him. But now this brotha is much stronger & was is able handle the pressure. Most blacks should have been for the Heat, just based on how the white racist media treat our brotha. I knew they were going to win from day one. It wasn't because they were a great team, cause in my opinion they are weak in one main area, no big man. They are probably the only team that has won a championship without a descent big man. But I knew God was not going to allow the white racist media continue to dog one of his children, cause God definitely does not care who wins a basketball game. So whom ever was rooting against Lebron, don't be upset cause this was bigger than basketball. This was God saying to the enemy, his child will always come out a winner.  "White folks hate it & I love it".
