Nobody wants to talk about my Lakers beating the Celtics?  It's okay, you don't have to...

Yall are still behind my Spurs, thus that win, like your team, is irrelevant.  :P

Well written.

I get so frustrated when people say "yea but he isn't clutch!"

He's the best player in the world, and that's all you got?  He isn't 'clutch'?   :-\

Well one would have to admit that he is clutch deficient.  Nonetheless, I love watching the team and think he is the best player in the NBA.  I'd love to seem them win it all if(more than likely when) the Spurs don't get it.   :)

I still don't buy the "not clutch" argument.  Dude is clutch all game long.  He helps put the team in position for a game-winning shot.  He shoots over 50% for the season.  That means he's going to miss at least one of two last-second shot attempts anyway.  So, if he misses one shot at the end of the game, gets the rebound and assists on the game-wining shot, is that not clutch?  Or, if he drives the lane, drawing 2 to 3 defenders to him and kicks it to a wide-open teammate, why is he criticized for not taking the shot????  Sports media is just plain stupid.  What's worse is the proliferation of this stupidity brainwashes the fans into the same line of thinking.  [\rant]

Most superstars put their team in a position to win...imo.  There's no denying that LBJ is the most gifted player in the league, but people want to see that killer instinct that separated MJ and Kobe from their peers.  I'm happy he took the shot...that's all I want from LBJ, but sadly, if he continues to miss, the media will say, "He's not clutch!"

Question 1: If Lakers somehow finish #1 or #2 in Western Conference, should Kobe be MVP?

Question 2: Should Lakers trade Gasol? Based on what I'm reading there's still a possibility for a Gasol trade. I don't think they should trade Gasol. If we could get more athleticism, an improved bench and maybe a young PG we may still be championship-caliber.

I believe if LBJ continues to do what he does but brings home a championship, all of the 'clutch' talk disappears.

Yep, because in my mind he (not Wade) is the key to Miami doing what they should do, win the title.

What is Dwight Howard thinking?   ?/?

SMH! Even though I think it's HIGHLY possible that the current Bulls team (with no injuries) could knock off Heat, having DHoward makes it very likely they could knock off the Heat and become title favorities....SMH!

On the contrary, I do not need to watch ESPN or listen to a reporter bash LBJ or his inefficiencies nor do I need to hear anyone sing his praises.  My beliefs are my beliefs...at the end of the day, I believe LeBron has all the tools necessary to be the greatest ball player of all time; however, if he continues to fade away from big shots then how can we consider him clutch?
