On the contrary, I do not need to watch ESPN or listen to a reporter bash LBJ or his inefficiencies nor do I need to hear anyone sing his praises.  My beliefs are my beliefs...at the end of the day, I believe LeBron has all the tools necessary to be the greatest ball player of all time; however, if he continues to fade away from big shots then how can we consider him clutch?

Like Kobe?

Is it better to go 7 for 21 but hit the big shot with 2 seconds left....

Or to go 12 for 20 and pass to the open teammate?   :-\

I dunno, I think Lebron is the main reason the Heat are where they are.  That, to me, means more than a last second shot.

In other news, Spurs guard T.J. Ford is out with another neck injury and is considering retirement. I remember when this guy was playing for Texas. I thought he was going to be a star.  :-\

Definitely the unsung hero.  It's easy to be overshadowed when you play with two Top 5 players.

My Top 5:

Lebron
Kevin Durant
Dwayne Wade
Kobe Bryant
Derrick Rose

You can disagree with where Wade falls in the Top 5, but he's definitely in there somewhere.

Injuries definitely got the best of Ford...

Can't really argue with that list...

Milwaukee Bucks trade Stephen Jackson and Andrew Bogut to Golden State Warriors for Monta Ellis, Kwame Brown and another player.

Kind of an interesting trade in my opinion.

So, they trade an injury-prone star for another injury-prone guy who has never reached his potential.  Interesting.

Right...LOL!

Did anyone hear about what the Orlando Magic offered Howard as a way to try to keep him? If he signed extension he would have power to determine fate of GM and the coach at the end of the season....SMH! Way too much power in my mind!

To me, if they add maybe one more player (don't know their needs) they could seriously contend with Bulls and Heat. I don't see them getting to the Finals but, with additional player, could be a tough out.

I also don't get why Howard wants to go to NJ. They don't seem close to contention. To me, Dallas, LA (both Lakers and Clippers) and maybe Bulls should be the teams he consider. I don't think he'll go to Lakers because he doesn't want to be in Shaq shadow (plus I think Lakers are still good with what they have). There's NO WAY he can go to Heat with their Big 3 already there (it was rumored he'd be open to going to Heat). The Heat SHOULD win the title this season with what they already have.

Looks like Mike D'Antoni of the Knicks may be the first coach out this season. Knicks have too much talent for the mess that's going on...SMH!

Wow.  It's sad that grown men getting paid millions of dollars can't do their stinking jobs.  D'Antoni needs to have the guts to sit players who don't run the offensive system the way it's designed.

All the talk was "How will Anthony fit in when he returns from injury?"

Well, now we know.  He hasn't.

When Linsanity began with Melo and Amar'e out the Knicks looked fantastic.  Jeremy Lin, Tyson Chandler, Steve Novak, Jared Jeffries, Landry Fields and Iman Shumpert were making the extra pass, playing GREAT defense, showing a lot of hustle, and beating everybody.

With Melo and Amar'e back the team chemistry has taken a nosedive.

It really is a shame because the team that was full of players who don't have big names was killing.  Steve Novak is possibly the best pure 3pt shooter in the league today.  Jared Jeffries is an excellent, long defender.  Iman Shumpert is an athletic PG/SG hybrid.  They aren't big name players but they have great chemistry together.

The Knicks are expected to make a run at Phil Jackson, who retired from the Lakers last year with 11 NBA titles.

Now THAT would be awesome!  You just know Phil would find a way for all those pieces to work.

And according to several sources (don't have link) Mike D'Antoni has resigned as coach of Knicks. Not surprising at all.

Bulls trying to land Pau Gasol.
No!

But I hear Dwight wants to finish out the season in Orlando.  That's kind of messed up if he's just going to turn around and screw them over at the end of the season.

How is he screwing them over if he lets them know his intentions ahead of time?

But if they can trade him and get something and he's persuading them to keep him only to leave them with nothing later...  I call that a screw over.  He should just say I understand you trading me since I'm not gonna stay anyway.
