And (even though it hasn't happened) congrats to the Spurs for locking up the #1 seed in the West. Right now my feeling is that Spurs will at least make it to the 2nd round. I don't see Suns, Nuggets, Utah or Mavs (well maybe Mavs) as legit teams to knock out Spurs in 1st round but anything is possible. I just can't see Spurs losing in 1st round.

Congrats to the 76ers making the playoffs. Looks like they still have a chance at the 7th seed. LL, which team you think 76ers has better chance to upset...Chicago or Miami? Personally I think Chicago but I'd be shocked if 76ers made it past 1st round.
Believe it or not, I think the 76ers best chance to win is against the Heat, realizing of course, that chance is about .5%.   :D .  With or without Rose, the Bulls' defense is stifling, and the Sixers' half court offense is sorely lacking.  That's not a good formula for victory at all.

Lately, the Heat has been giving Joel Anthony more minutes.  I'm not sure if that's solely due to Bosh's absence.  I hope not.  I think Anthony is key to the Heat's chances of winning it all.

VERY interesting point at the end bro! Half say DWade. I and the other half say Lebron and you're saying Anthony. Very interesting.

If your 76ers have to face Heat and win....my mouth will be opened wide for like 3 days...LOL! 1.5 days if they beat Chicago...LOL!

Everybody knows Wade is going to do his thing on both ends of the floor.  LeBron is going to do his thing on both ends of the floor, guarding everybody and their mother.  But, who else is going to step up on defense?  If Anthony gets his minutes, I KNOW he'll step up.  In my opinion, the Heat are an overall better team the more minutes he plays.  They don't need 5 scorers on the floor.  They've got the big three plus a kick-out option.  So, Anthony can anchor the middle, getting offensive rebounds.  When he's out, Haslem has to be in.  He can hit the mid-range jumper and he's their best rebounder.

Ideally, I'd like to see a defensive lineup to start the game and build a lead, a la the Chicago Bulls under Phil Jackson.  And then, mix in an offensive lineup to keep the lead.

Slight correction: The Sixers aren't "my" Sixers.  They're my favorite team and have been all my life.  But, I don't claim ownership.

Well, he used to.  He's been missing that shot all season.  And so has Bosh.

@LL see I can't even say "my" Lakers because I'm a bootleg fan...LOL!!

Anyway, I keep forgetting about Memphis as a possible title team.

I don't think they have a shot at coming out of the West, let alone winning it all.  They're a good team and they'll push somebody, but I don't think they beat the Spurs, Thunder, or Lakers (who match up quite well with their two 7-footers) in a series.

“Biyombo told me, ‘This is my house,’ I told him, ‘You have 7 wins. It’s everybody’s house.’”

—Memphis’ Rudy Gay, regarding some words with Charlotte Bobcat Bismack Biyombo during the two team’s contest last Friday night (Memphis won).

ROFLMBO!!! That team so bad that Michael Jordan went to a hockey playoff game in Chicago lastnight. Of course, the Blackhawks were eliminated lastnight but that's neither here nor there.  ;D

Metta World Peace aka Ron Artest has been suspended 7 games for hit to James Harden, which includes the last game of the regular season for Lakers and 6 playoff games. So Artest would come back for either a game 7 in 1st round or game 1 or 2 in 2nd round (if Lakers make it that far).

Thoughts?

Playoff update:

Heat lose to Celtics which equals Bulls having #1 seed in Eastern Conference.

Clippers lose to Hawks which equals Lakers having #3 seed facing either Dallas or Denver in 1st round (I'd be more scared to face Dallas than Denver because of 3 point threat). Clippers will most likely face Grizzlies in 1st round. It's not determined yet whether Clippers will have home-court.

Utah and Phoenix playing right now. If Utah wins they get #8 spot in West and Phoenix is out. If Phoenix wins the 8th seed is still open in West. Either way I don't see either team beat Spurs in 1st round.

I would rather go against Utah than Phoenix. Nash could prove a threat to Parker.

Last night's Heat/Celtics battle of the scrubs was a laugher last night.  It's amazing how much of a drop-off there is in quality of play between the starters and the bench.

I could have sworn I was watching a high school game with all of the turnovers and bricks and missed layups I saw.  That's not to say that everyone on the floor was a scrub.  A couple of reserves for the Celtics are really nice.  I believe they could start elsewhere.  But those other dudes???  They had me laughing.

Do you guys think Kobe is going to pursue the scoring title at all costs?  Durant is leading him by a little bit and Durant plays before Kobe in the last game of the regular season.

Exactly my thoughts!

I don't think he should if all he's really concerned about is ring #6.
