I'm glad. I don't think Brown deserved to be fired from the beginning. I'm glad he didn't burn the bridge.

My other NBA playoff thoughts:

1. Lakers are done. I give up. All these doggone injuries. Let's just let Spurs sweep and prepare for what may be the most interesting offseason Lakers have had in about 13 years.

2. I took Clippers in 7 mainly because 1) I think they'll represent West in Finals and 2) homecourt advantage.

3. Bucks are basically done. They never had a chance.

4. Looks like Knicks/Celtics series will end in 5.

Dan Gilbert is full of chicken crap to me. Mike Brown took the high road but I would have taken another road and went somewhere else.  :-X

As I said before, let's just go on to the finals and get it over with. The Heat will win it all either way. I want to see an NBA season where you have no idea who's going to win it all. BTJM

I disagree I want to see a few years where one team is uber dominate ... that way when David Meets Goliath the storyline is more interesting

I'm kind of with Chevonee. I want a situation where you don't know who's going to win the title. Speaking of which, I think the West has opened up even more...SMH!

It's being reported that Russell Westbrook will have to have surgery (torn meniscus) and no timetable is being announced. If he's having it now, I think you can say goodbye to OKC getting to Finals which opens up the West more which also will confirm what I've been saying: Clippers will get to the Finals!

What a turn of events!

Celtics are down 3-0 and as everyone knows, no team in NBA history has ever won a playoff series after being down 3-0. A lot of talk is going on about whether it's time for Celtics to rebuild. Now it's time for the Lakers to play and honestly, I'm kind of hoping we go ahead and lose the next 2 games and get on with the offseason.

Don't worry, y'all will.

LOL!! Well thanks for the encouragement! LOL!

Well, that Bulls/Nets series is kind of going the way I expected it too. For some reason I wasn't sold on Brooklyn and had Chicago in 6. It could still go that way. I agree with commentators who say that the Nets are one player away.

Without Westbrook, I can't see OKC getting to the Finals. It's either going to be Spurs, Clippers or Memphis. Denver and Golden State don't have the defense (even though it looks like the league is becoming offense-happy) to truly contend (even though I had Denver as a dark horse).

Today could end 3 series: Celtics are down 3-0, Lakers are down 3-0 and hopefully will be relieved of their suffering today and Bucks are down 3-0.

Let's go!

Well, the Spurs are about to finally put Los Angeles out of their misery. Good riddance.

My face as I watch the Lakers get SWEPT, DISMANTLED and OBLITERATED by my Spurs...

The following people won't be seen in this thread again until next season:
1. Nessa
2. Cordney
3. The Lakers-fan half of Bennet (the Miami Heat half may still appear)

SMH!!! I'm no fan of Miami. I just think they are the best team...LOL!!

But congrats to Spurs for relieving Lakers of their suffering. Not going to make a prediction yet but the Spurs vs winner of Golden State/Denver series is going to be great! I think it'll go to 6 or 7.

I'm disappointed in the Clippers. I have them getting to the Finals and then 1) Blake gets hurt 2) supporting cast fails (only 2 players in double digits of points last night). We'll see if they can force a game 7 but it looks like this: Randolph and Gasol are playing well = Clipps having no chance.

Anybody giving Celtics & Rockets a chance to overcome the wall of a 3-0 series deficit? I am for Celtics.

Yeah to me, the Clippers have the best team top to bottom.  It's like they are playing with two starting 5's.  I just don't know what to say for those guys.

On paper, yes but it seems like defense, lack of shooting and potentially the inexperience of the coach could be the nail in the coffin. Idk. Not a fan of unemployment but I still think VDN (head coach) will be fired if Clipps lose in 1st or 2nd round.

Not totally surprised (maybe for different reasons) but Golden State is 12 minutes away from the upset (not really an upset because there were 6 50+ wins teams). I can't believe Denver fouled with less than a second left in the 3rd quarter.
