I think the world hunger issue can be solved and we still make the robots. Some of the resources sent to starving nations never make it because of greed and power although there are other factors.
TBH, I wasn't even thinking about world hunger. I was thinking more along the lines of American hunger... and homelessness, and cancer, and Alzheimers, and schools without proper facilities and supplies, and all sorts of other things...
I mean, of course we can still make robots. People can do whatever they want to do with their money; companies too. What I'm saying isn't quite the same as the folks who complain about spending trillions to do research in space, not realizing that the benefits make it worthwhile.
On second thought, this reminds me of another discussion we once had. I guess there are just two different schools of thought on this.
Either way, it's not my money so my opinion really isn't worth much.
