This is an example of the devastating consequences of unresolved anger. The thing too is that with the human psyche, there are so many variables and no two people respond the the same situation in exactly the same way. What my not bother one person in the least, could drive another over the edge. You just never know what a person will do under any given circumstance and once they have fully given themselves over to rage, you have very little recourse to stop them other than fatally engaging with them. At that point it's a kill-or-be-killed situation.
