My early YEARS were rough.

(I have that kind of personality, though, so I understand).
When I first came here
(are we turning this into the "when I first came here" thread??) , I didn't realize that LGM was a family. I really didn't give it any thought, but since I was an outsider, I just thought I was randomly posting my two cents in a message board... like graffiti on a wall or something. As you know, I have a lot of opinions on a lot of different subjects, and I'm not really timid, so my posts reflected that. A couple of "key people" were rubbed the wrong way, which... you know... around here... lol.... doesn't usually end well. There was one thread where everything I said was deleted or censored so it really looked like I was being told off and had no defense.

Then of course, there were all the laughs, cosigns, mocking from the peanut gallery. It was interesting. But I chalk it up to an initiation. (Newbies take note; y'all have it easy compared to what some of us went through *sniffle*

) But yeah, three of those guys from the peanut gallery actually became
friends that I really love and respect and even discuss personal stuff with, and another person that I had strong feelings of dislike for, became a person that I would give my right arm for. And shoot, there isn't one person on LGM (regulars, not lurkers) that I wouldn't welcome in my home if they needed a place to stay. Cross my heart on that one.
All's well that ends well.
