I recall my first foray into the drum room. Ouch! I don't recall the topic or what I said, but I got REBUKED!
I recall one thread where I just had to back off and stay off LGM for a couple days. There was one other person in the thread where if he said "day" I said "night" and vice versa. We burned up a lot of bandwidth quoting and dissecting each others' posts.
This one is more of a TalkBass issue, but since the person on the other end is on LGM, I was really embarrassed. I sold a guy a bass that I had modified. I really liked the way the final product came out, but sold it to buy something else. I did a REALLY SUCKY job of packaging it and it sustained some damage. He hated the bass. The only way I found that out was when he mentioned on TB that he had resold it.
There was the time in the Bass Forum where I posted a tab for a song.....looked at it a couple months later and concluded that I had tabbed it in the wrong key and posted a correction.....only to figure out a few weeks later that I had posted it in the right key originally, so I had to retract the correction.
