Keyboard with good orgAn
« on: December 26, 2011, 12:05:37 AM »
Im looking for a good keyboard that has a good piano and organ sound to it. I play for a sanctified Pentecostal church, and we are need for a better keyboard. We don't have a lot of money, and we won't to keep it close to 1000 or less.. Used or preowned if possible.. Is a motif a good kind, if so which type.. Es, xf, or what?

One of those cheap korg 61 key has an ok organ on it. I can't remember which keyboard. I believe it had leslie effect also. It's under $1000 new.
Vision without action is just day dreaming. I miss practicing.

I borrowed a nord 3 with 73 keys from a buddy of mine a couple of weeks ago.  I ONLY play organ, but if was going to buy a useful gigging rig this would be it.  Good piano, GREAT Rhodes and Wurlitzer electric pianos, excellent onboard effects, and everything can be manipulated on the fly...meaning you don't have to scroll though digital menus.   I didn't mess around with the organ that much because I hate organ clones, but from what I've seen, this is the  rig for working keyboard players.  Piano, GREAT Rhodes and Wurli, passable organ.
