HELP! Need to learn song for tomorrow morning.
« on: January 14, 2012, 11:09:54 PM »
I am a bass player and there is a song that's not really hard but I have never been able to figure it out. Unfortunately, I need to play it tomorrow morning.

The Song is "Praise Him" (The traditional one: http://youtu.be/H8Iw6fHHCPY)

Try as I might, I can never hear what the bass is supposed to be doing. If I just knew what the changes were, I could play the roots but I have a mental block where this song is concerned.

Can anyone help me out with the chords to this?

yeah homie, Ima need you to make your requests during business hours. Best I can tell you is to find a better youtube, or dl a good clear arrangement on itunes, so it'll be easier to pick it up.

I got it.

What was killing me is that the first change after the root is the VI and and then it goes from the II to III and my ear was not hearing it.

It's really easy but sometimes we just get a block.

Thanks all!
