It seems nobody cares about the chaos/conflict in Africa. 

The US is quick to get in everyone else's business, yet there are people going through hell on earth in Africa and we're very much unconcerned.

I saw the Kony thing, but I'm just a skeptic in general. I mean, why do people start caring only when other people tell them to care? Why not care about injustice right next door to you or Darfur or Troy Davis or Rwanda or homelessness and other causes? I know there's a tad bit of apples and oranges mixed in there, but in general what I'm asking is why do some people only care about stuff when someone tells them to start caring? That annoys me.

So yeah, I saw the name Kony floating around and I googled it out of curiosity, but I didn't watch the video so I really  have no idea what it's all about.

I know where I heard it.  Invisible Children did an assembly at one (maybe more) of the local high schools.  I don't know what they hoped to gain by talking to high school kids, fund raising maybe?  But the kids in my church that went were talking about it and it seemed it kept their attention (most things don't).  Yeah, idk...

Is it just me, or does it seem that terrorism and intolerance tend to flourish where big oil deposits are found?

NRC - Sunday - dreamed of eating lasagna - delicious!
         Monday - Bought small portion of 'healthy' lasagna from Trader Joes's - not so good. (Though I like their Spinach lasagna, which has a few more carbs and calories)
