Apparently the California state line is only like 10 minutes from my job (well it curves in and at that closest point someone has built a shack to sell lotto tickets). People from my job were running up there on lunch to buy tickets, but the line was so long, they couldn't get off of the freeway. So they continued up to Truckee (45 mins away). I hope they win, keep up this foolishness and they'll need that money even more, lol.

I found out today that about 30 ppl in my department are in a pool. They had an email discussion abt me where one person said she thought I'd be offended if they asked me if I wanted in bc I'm "religious." Then they all went back/forth about it. I thought that was hilarious. Plus, I never talk about "religious" stuff, so idk where they got that from anyway. But anyway, it dawned on me that if they win, my company would likely lose 28 employees - all directors and highly specialized technical staff, plus the SVP.

I kinda want them to win just to see that happen. LOL

I do too except when the sun is out and I'm outside..it is all good but normally when I walk into a building immediately after coming from outside..I can't see for about 5 mins!!

NRC...but when I become rich, I'm going to start a "Build a Dream" program. Sort of like a scholarship for kids between 18-21 who have a passion for something. For instance, if a kid is working hard to become a music star, the program would sponsor their dream by providing them with equipment, studio time, sessions with producers, send them to workshops, etc. They have to have a real passion for it, though.

NRC but when I become rich, I'm going to volunteer and provide substantial funding for the Innocence Project. I cannot wrap my brain around people serving any amount of time for a crime they didn't commit. I may also start a sister organization, The Justice Project, for those cases that have been swept under the rug - like Mr. Chamberlain's.

I'm not gonna wait til I'm rich to start the project to mentor inner city girls and teach them stuff like etiquette, diction & grammar, goals, resume writing, interview skills, self-respect, undergarment rules, money management, survival skills, etc...

NRC but in my opinion Kirk Franklin has to be considered one of the biggest game-changers in the history of the gospel music. I mean you talk about someone setting a new standard, Kirk Franklin is that...wow! I remember when he first came out in the 90s and among some of the traditional church folk (particularly in my area) he was one of the most hated people out there. It's just amazing how God has used Kirk to forever change the face of gospel music in America and around the world...my Lord!
