Wow, funk, I honestly don't care about that.

That's great.....this is exactly the kind the kind of post we need in this thread.  Your comment has made my day  :D.  Thanks Fenix!

NRC...but I'm going to try my hand at cooking this:

So I made some of these last night, and they are DELICIOUS. They only take 2 minutes to make. I had to make some more this morning. Chef Boyarteej FTW!

NRC, but the last 24 hours have been amazing. Within these 24 hours I've seen (saw?) three of my closest friends.

Yesterday I had lunch with one of my friends. It was an amazing time of sharing, laughing and a little debating. I went to church last night, got a much-needed Word for my life and saw another one of my friends. Then I went to the library this morning just to read and chill and behold I see a 3rd friend (plus I saw the friend I had lunch with yesterday again). What an amazing morning/afternoon it has been!

NRC, but I think (except the money) I'm tired of choir anniversaries. We had 13 groups and by the time the last group got up the church was almost completely empty. It lasted 3 1/2 hours...SMH!

Well that's where you (they) went wrong. Hmm. Something just came to mind. BRB, gotta go tweet it. LOL. Okay, I'm back. Yeah, 13 is not just too much, it's just not a smart move at all. Very poor decision. One of the greatest disasters of my career was working with an artist who had 14 invited choirs, groups and solo artists for his 10 year anniversary. It was disastrous and everyone blamed me, though I had absolutely nothing to do with it AND tried to tell the artist that was way too many guests. You want to allot 15 minutes for each of your local groups (you're only giving them 10, though, but you're allotting 5 as a buffer to get on stage, get situated, switch musicians, host comments, etc.), and 25-35 for groups that traveled from out of state. I can't think of any circumstance where I'd invite more than 6 because honestly, who wants to sit through all that??? :-\

Btw, if I had a nickel for every time you said you were tired of choir anniversaries... LOL....

NRC: I'm writing up my graduation gift list, debating whether or not I should include instruments because they're cheap in comparison to what I really, really want.

On a seesaw on a seesaw I saw you saw he saw she saw.

Nobody really cares what movie dream-sequence that line came from.

Sounds like some Dr. Seuss but you said movie so I know I'm wrong.

I've never been really big on the whole Twitter thing.  I can't really see what the big deal about it is.  Then again, I'm not on it enough to really find out.

I only enjoy it when I'm in convos with friends. The rest of it, I'm not into. A lot of the celebrities get on my very last nerve, and I often find myself wondering if they realize what traits they're displaying when they tweet (or more likely RT).

But anyway, I still prefer FB. But I could take or leave either one. Not that serious to me.

I don't know if I told you guys this, but my former FL who is still a much respected mentor of mine, will be travelling with me to my speaking engagement next week.  Very exciting!  She called me the other day to tell me how honored she is that I'd want her to go with me.  I was think PSSHHHYeah, I'm honored that you would want to come!  It's going to be a great time.  I speak on our second day there, and then I'll be free to enjoy myself (except for a workshop I'm supposed to do with the young people, but that's more in my comfort zone, and I'm sure I will use the wisdom of my mentor to help me out).

So basically, Twitter is just one big NRC thread to me.  LOL
That's it, in a nutshell, LOL.

In 140 characters or less, which is why I can tolerate it. (Except for those who post essays despite the 140 limit).
