For weeks I had been wondering why the picture on my TV didn't seem as crisp as it had been previously.  I changed the picture settings.  I went through the owner's manual with a fine-toothed comb.  I couldn't get any answers.  Turns out the HD setting on my cable box was somehow reset to 480i.  I switched it back to 1080i, and whoa what a difference!
