Thank you all for the consideration especially since 'nobody (with the possible exception of Ph [a little bit]) really cares'  .  BTW, if you're looking for these engines, they are assigned at random and can pretty much show up anywhere on the system (and even on other railroads).  You may have better luck encountering them on coal trains because these AC motored engines are best suited to 'heavy haul', low-speed service.

But in the mean time....

Yes LGM; because you DON'T care, I am pleased to inform you that the Reading Company (commonly referred to as the Reading Railroad) is the latest heritage unit released by Norfolk Southern. Shown below is SD70ACe #1067.



Reading Company (originally the Philadelphia & Reading) was a North Eastern regional carrier that went bankrupt in the 70's.  The company sold its railroad assets to newly formed Consolidated Rail Corp. (Conrail), but continued to exist and was eventually reorganized as Reading Entertainment until 2001 when it became Reading International via merger.  Reading Cinemas is one of the railroad's successors.

Yes.  Three of the railroads on Monopoly were actual Class 1 carriers.   The "short line" railroad is generic.

and:   x = x^1

then:  (x)/[x^(1/2)] = x^(1)/[x^(1/2)] = x^[1 - (1/2)] = x^(1/2) = squareroot(x)
