Speaking of books... NRC but I told y'all I ordered two books a couple of weeks ago, one was supposed to help me prepare for the service I preached at in Jacksonville on Friday. The book just arrived today. I guess God didn't want me to use the book. It really is a blessing though because a lot of my points are in that book, but if I had read the book, it may have appeared I was plagiarizing or stealing material. Maybe God just wanted me to rely on him only.

LOL! If I ever speak/preach I will be ordering my books 4 weeks in advance...LOL!!  :D

CS: Watching Mork & Mindy on The Hub. I've probably said this already, but The Hub is very close close to the type of channel I want to create except they are aiming at a slightly different democratic.

NRC, but I'm in a studio waiting on on my time to play(hired gun), and I'm killing time watching a buncha "fan movies" on You tube.

NRC but something "new" happened in rehearsal today. I just kinda stood there in like....  ?/? :o :-\.

So I'm sure I've told you all about one of the guys who is on the praise team who likes to be "in control" of everything and you can't tell him anything because he "knows" it already.  ::)

So, him and the keyboard player kinda got into it. Now let me tell you first, this guy NEVER knows the lyrics to songs and most times, his tempo is off.

On one particular song, the musicians stopped playing (they play around, but we kept singing) so one part that the guy sings, (I think he either sped it up or slowed down) he blamed it on the musicians. So he and the keyboard player got into it. They were cool afterwards. But I SO didn't expect that. He just thinks he knows it all, like you can't tell him anything. Smh. And he plays around, but wants to get serious when HE gets ready. Like dude.... have a seat!

This being a musician's site, we're all probably safe.  However, I feel bad for the poor stubby-fingered people if they have to deal with this type of prejudice.  What have they done to anyone?  Some of my best friends are stubby-fingered.

Actually, it was a musician (two, in fact) that made me think of that. My friend is a musician (the one you met, Britt) and she has the shortest fingers I've ever seen. It actually grosses me out and I think I struggle to respect her because of those fingers. Well, that and the fact that she doesn't clean up after herself. *shrug*

Anyway, this morning, I was watching one of TCS' videos (I'm gonna find it after I post this) and they showed a shot of a keyboardist and my skin crawled at how short his lil stubby fat fingers were... AND his sleeves were too long so it really looked awful!

I guess I probably should get saved, huh? :-\
