I was not addressing my comment solely to you Nessa, I got your point! for real!... I have to go to work now, but I bet God believes and God knows Lucifer can be saved again, just like he knew the prodical son could be saved!  He is God!!!

There are a lot of things we must chalk up to interpretation, but this isn't one of them.  Satan (don't even call him Lucifer anymore) can't be saved.  He is doomed.  Damned.  It has already been foreseen in the book of Revelations.  He can't repent and end up walking around heaven like it's all good, throwin' peace signs and what have you.

SMH... I never met anybody worried about the devil's well-being.  That joka would kill you now if he could.

What the devil?????????

I wonder why hell is personified as being a female opening her mouth wide?

Isaiah 5:14
Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure:....

Any sound speculations?

Not sure, but Proverbs personnifies deceit and seduction as a woman, as well.  Maybe because a woman is subtle but can draw a man into something he would otherwise steer clear of.  People are enticed and deceived into hell.  No one goes there really seeing the whole picture clearly.  Similar to a woman's seduction... got your head all messed up, lol.

Can I backtrack and LOL at this?

Rue, maybe that's why people won't say "deviled eggs", you may get too comfortable and start pitying him and loving him and what not...

You pray to the one Jesus prayed to, but you ask in his name.

Fascinating!

Anyways I want to speak to the Oneness V Trinitarian views. I don't see any inherent conflict between them. Maybe I haven't studied it deeply enough, but I don't see Oneness as being heretical. Oneness seems to imply, to me, that there is ONE being...ONE. This being is the Father, Son and Holy Ghost at the same time.

So what is the problem with that?  ?/?

That's what we say!!

1. Trekkie points. you gets a flagon of Romulan Ale for that.

2. once Louis Cypher got the big head, he got stripped of his appellation. He isn't bearing any more light, so can't be referred to as such. He is done. It's true, I read the spoiler on the interwebs.

3. incidentally, Wisdom is described as a woman as well.

4. at the end o' the day, it really doesn't matter what one doctrine sez versus another. As long as Jehovah hears me, He answers, and I live by whut He said.
(not negating healthy discussion, jus' sayin.)

As LM ,Ness and other have said-LORD has many NAMES-some representative of particular aspects of HIS PERSONA in OT.

In NT;JESUS gives us an "edge",to go directly to FATHER,in HIS NAME.

JESUS further tells us to cry out,"ABBA (FATHER)" thru the HOLY SPIRIT.

Some good responses here, but in CHRIST-;pray and know HOLY SPIRIT takes your prayer to JESUS after HE perfects it,JESUS as ADVOCATE presents to FATHER ;WHO asnwers!

A new liberty! The emphasis is NOT of flesh-but of CHRIST.

Wow, this has really taken a turn.

I think Ezekiel said it best...

Ezekiel 28: 11-19

"Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.  Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone [was] thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.  Thou [art] the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee [so]: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.  Thou [wast] perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.  By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.  Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.  Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.  All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never [shalt] thou [be] any more."
