Musings on the Will of God
« on: April 20, 2012, 12:04:37 PM »
I think about how we perceive the "Will of God" and wanted to get your perspective on it. I think sometimes a person's perception of it can create a lot of unnecessary stress. An example of this is when something doesn't go your way you say it must not have been the will of God. Later you're mad because God didn't give you what you wanted. I do believe there is a purpose for everything but it may not be in the way you perceive it. It may be God's will for you to end up in a certain place in life but you make choices in your path do getting there. Some may not even make it but God does order your steps. I believe in ordering your steps God puts choices before you to lead you to his ultimate will for your life.

I don't believe Rebecca had to trick Isaac for Jacob to get his blessing. It could have come even without trickery. Some would preach that she had to trick him but I'm not so convinced. There are many lessons in this.
Vision without action is just day dreaming. I miss practicing.

This reminds me of the the scripture:

Matthew 26:24
The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.

Judas, man you tripping.  I was gonna go anyway.  I didn't need your help.  So this is the path you have chosen.  Woe be unto you.
