Yeah man, they released him.  But he has since announced his retirement.  Somehow, it just would seem right to see Hines Ward on any other team's roster (not to mention that he's pretty much near the end of career).  Despite having a lackluster season, he will be missed.

whats up on the baritone ? The ad said its b to b tuning , why would that be desirable and would you know who plays one and to what stlye would it sound good with? Wait im not a bass player but isnt that what them 5 string bass has above low E so is this perhaps a funky bassy thing?

Baritone tuning for guitar can mean several different things.  In some cases, I've heard of baritones being tuned an octave below standard which would put it in the same lower frequency range as a standard 4-string bass.  In fact, Fender's Bass VI and Danelectro's Long Horn VI are considered by some to be more of a baritone guitar than a true bass instrument but there are examples of people who have effectively used them as bass guitars (OTOH, there are piccolo basses that are tuned an octave higher than standard putting in the guitar range, but without the upper two strings).

baritones/lowtuned guitars are useful in a lot more than metal. they've been used in the the studio and it country/blues for years.
