If there is anyone who has ever visited Chi Town or lives in the Chi, let me know which church band has the best sound in your opinion.

I would have to say my church choir's band!  GFC Chorale out of East Chicago.  I play the bass and MD the band that consists of:

Organ:Jayson Jenkins
Keys:Floyd Thomas
Keys(occassionally):Maulty "Tuff" Jewell IV
Drums:Dejuan Watson

Notice that none of these guys carry a title of GREAT or whatever.  They don't need titles...their playing speaks volumes.  Sure, you may not have ever heard of them but don't sleep too hard.........    I'm not bragging but these guys are some of the best musicians I have ever had the pleasure of working with PERIOD!

If u are talkin about Greater First   ( I hope u are)  You are totally correct.  Tuff  is sick on the organ and the keys.  I heard him play on many occasions.  The chior is the "BEST" church chior i have every heard.  There praise team is the "BEST" praise team i have ever heard.  So i have to agree with u on that band and im adding that chior and praise team also.       GOD BLESS THAT MINISTRY
