I paid money to get chords for songs and its been over 6 months and they still haven't fixed this problem of rebuilding and when I clicked on the Contact link there was no contact information I want my money back

for $30 bucks you're whining about chords

If you dont take time to learn the chording system, how can you complain about the content on the site?
Theres tons of songs here, and all you had to do was listen to the original, and play the notes that somebody volunteered to type out for you. It doesnt work, unless you do.
Thousands of people have benefited from the labor of chord posters on this site. If you havent been one of them, its not because of lgm; its because of you. When you realize that the only person thats going to make you a better player is yourself, then you'll begin to take responsibility for your practice regimen and your overall results.
But what you wont do is insult the owners of this site or the people who stack it full of content for all to benefit. Its plain disrespectful.

If not, I'd love to know where you've been, why you haven't asked more questions (in a much friendlier tone, btw), and perhaps show what you've learned in your time away.

I dont think 4HG ever meant for this to be a pay site. Could you imagine if soon as you looked for chords, it asked you for your credit card info?

The premium upgrade gives members the ability to access some other forums and edit posts; in addition it helps keep all the other info (that makes up lgm) on the web free. Dont you realize any person who googles a song name and chords usually gets a hit for learngospelmusic.com? Somebody has to pay for the web design, hosting space, the domain, google ad words, affiliate marketing partnerships, and plus spend countless hours putting all of it together. Premium membership, while not required, is encouraged to help make it less of a burden for the site owner to provide all this.

Yall just have different expectations of what the green stars mean

I'm pretty sure that there was a section with info for paying customers only. I havent seen that page in a while though.

For $30.00, LGM has got to be one of the best(learn gospel music) bargains you could ever find, even after the re-working.  If one doesn't see that, they should at least check themselves before slamming the site. The problem could be the one doing the slamming. I can say one thing with some assurance that many will back me up, and certainly expressing my own opinion, "suck" would be the last word I would use to describe LGM.  As a matter of fact, I can't see how anyone would. It's beyond me.

Thanks Jonathan for giving me the benefit of doubt although slightly correcting me and most of all to SketchMan who understands where I am.coming from. I paid money for a certain section of this website that was only available to to "premium" members and now time after time. I have been coming back being hopeful that its fixed and nothing, instead of slamming me for a complaint, better Customer Service from the head guy should be.asking how can it be made right or Sorry I understand your frustration but we are doing everything we can to get it back up so you  continue to grow. I haven't even asked for my money back which the site said would give me if request. I ONLY ask for the PREMIUM SECTION or whatever u call it to be put back up it to give me some hope that I will be able to access it shortly so I can get on with my playing . Why ? Because I paid for it, it wasn't available to people who had not paid.

I have been a member of LGM for 6 years.  That figures out to $5.00 per year.  I really can't put a price on what I have learned at this site.  I have seen almost no advertisement where the owner gains.  He is not a keyboard manufacturer that would gain from it(Korg. Roland,Yamaha forums do) I would assume that he must have costs in time and money to keep the site running. 

I can't even begin to begrudge them the $30.00 that I paid.  I wouldn't even if there were no premium member privileges at extra cost. As far as I can tell, the site is there just to aid learning gospel musicians (and nobody is getting rich).  If they make some money, so be it, but it sure doesn't seem to be their major goal. 

Those in the forum also have a social interaction in the Gospel Lounge which ultimately ends up being informative to practicing musicians and those who are working toward that goal.

They are helping learning musicians at LGM.  They helped me and I just say,"thank you" to the ones who are working with this site. 

I still can't see by any means why a complaint would start out with "This place sucks".  Hard as I think about it, I can't get behind that at all.  Things that come to my mind are that it was inaccurate, rude and uncalled for.
