Here's my thing about any and all videos like this:  What's the theory behind it beyond playing a 7-3-6?  In other words, what makes a certain chord better than another if one can use either chord?

For example: Why does a Db13 sound better than a Db7 when playing a particular progression? Does it matter?

Stuff like that.

No it doesn't matter. It all depends on you and how you want it to sound. A 13 chord assumes you have the 7,9 and 11 notes in there so 13 chords are bigger and fuller than just plain 7 chords. A friend asked me to break down Grateful by Hezikiah Walker. That song uses a 7 chord (7th note in the scale) to pass to the 4 chord. Ill post another video soon

Good breakdown.  Ever think about doing a video series on scale fingering?

Hi, it's a work in progress ;) It's worked out well so far. It's good to hear where musicians are right now so I can offer suggestions.
