Well to be fair, on paper, he is the pastor of a church. But in reality, that church doesn't exist. He hired me to do his legal paperwork for him a few years ago, and right after everything was drafted, he sent me his itinerary and asked me to send it out to all my friends, contacts, etc. I emailed him back and said "whoa, how the heck are you gonna make this work with a new church???" He was gone practically every Sunday, and every week (to his credit, he's a very popular prophet and after hooking up with a mega church pastor, he blew up practically overnight). He said that he would do the launch service, and then from there on, he would do services by satellite whenever he was on the road. He recorded one sermon in his hotel room and I guess the plan was to play the video for the "church members." I couldn't do anything but laugh. I mean, for one, he never had any church members in the first place. Secondly, it's just dumb. I chalked it up to youth, but now I see it as just another person who views ministry as a lucrative alternative to getting a job, and a nice way to get status and become important.
