ALSO...The COGIC Music Department released their live recording "The St. Louis Experience" this past Tuesday. I'm enjoying it thus far. It's edited pretty heavily, though.

Maurette Brown Clark has a new record out as well. Haven't listened to it yet.

I picked it up today, so I'll give my report soon. The band is stacked, but whoever did the album cover needs to be CHOKED. This is one of the ugliest (Lord forgive me) album covers I've ever seen.

The "Breaking of Day" remake is nice, but Im still trying to get past "its a remake".  I think because its still very close to the original.  I do like the album though.  Im a long time Maurette fan though.

Yeah, I like it.  It seems like it's the thing to do (remakes, hymns, classics) to fill up an album these days.  Maurette's music is very nice.  My mom is musically 20 (or more) years behind (the only CDs she has were purchased by one of her children, lol).  I think I may order her a couple of MBC's albums...
