Interval names

I been studying about musical intervals am I correct on this....

Ionian:
1= Root
2nd = Major second
3rd = Major third
4th = Perfect fourth
5th = Perfect fifth
6th = Major sixth
7th = Major seventh
8th = Octave

Dorian
1 = Root
2nd = Major second
b3 = Minor third
4th = Perfect fourth
5th = Perfect fifth
6th = Major sixth
b7 = Minor seventh
8th = Octave

Phrygian
1 = Root
b2 = Minor second
b3 = Minor third
4th = Perfect fourth
5th = Perfect fifth
b6 = Minor sixth
b7th = Minor seventh
8th = Octave

Lydian
1 = Root
2nd = Major Second
3rd = Major third
#4 = Sharp fourth
5th = Perfect fifth
6th = Major sixth
7th = Major Seventh
8th = Octave

Mixolydian
1 = Root
2nd = Major Second
3rd = Major third
4th = Perfect fourth
5th = Perfect fifth
6th = Major sixth
b7 = Minor seventh
8th = Octave

Locrian
1 = Root
b2 = Minor Second
b3 = Minor third
4th = perfect fourth
b5 = Diminished fifth
b6 = Minor sixth
b7 = Minor seventh
8th = Octave

I was just surprised to see locrian had a perfect fourth!?

Yes, that's correct only if you are measuring the interval from the root note to each note of each scale/mode. This is an interesting way of studying/learning intervals.
Real musicians play in every key!!!

Aeolian
1st = Root
2nd = Major second
b3rd = Minor third
4th = Perfect fourth
5th = Perfect fifth
b6 = Minor sixth
b7 = Minor seventh
8th = Octave

Forgot about Aeolian I was surprised also to see that Locrain and Phrygian had both a minor second  :)

Aeolian is just the Latin/modal name for the natural minor or diatonic minor scale.
It's the sixth mode of the diatonic major scale.

Phrygian mode (third mode of diatonic major) is popular in a lot of darker heavy metal.
That minor second gives it an evil sound, I guess...  ;D
