Track recording on motif???

[1 piano]

Hi everyone. I know how to record tracks on the motif(XS7) but I have a couple of questions. I made a drum track for shouting music but I don't know
1. How to play the track when I am not in the Pattern mode. and
2. How to to scronize the tempo between sounds. I want to get rid of the "Human Error."

I would like to play the track and be able to change the sounds without being in the Pattern mode. Can anybody help me?
