Baldwin Organ Help
« on: September 04, 2012, 09:11:19 PM »
I am a piano player at heart and at a former church I got to experience the Hammond B3. Recently my church was given an older model Baldwin organ without drawbars or a Leslie. I thank God for the gift, but I don't know how to set it to get a good  sound. Can someone please give me pointers or advice? Bless you

It's probably not even worth using. It was gifted for a reason. Most organs that are decent will have stops that are labeled with footages like 16' 8' 4' 2' 1 1/3' So like a hammond, your starting point is the 8' and the 4' stops and you add from there. It might help if you can post a picture or the model number. How many pedals does it have?
