Some too notice on the guitar
« on: September 28, 2012, 09:21:21 PM »
When I play scales I noticed that my fingers are never high and arched. I mean it's always flat and sometimes when I play my fingers get to sliping off the string. I notice some players play scales with their finger tips where there hands are high and arched. Would I have to make the adjustments inorder to play fast like george benson?

Yeah your right sketchman. I just put in an 20 min practice having my fingers high and arched, and Im playing like I know the guitar fretboard. Like how I would usually approach the guitar my fingers were never high and arched or in a high position when getting ready to play. It would be low and flat to the guitar fretboard. And I notice how difficult it was at first to make adjustments but now I had to learn how to play scales all over again that and pentatonic scales and stuff. But the cool thing is that it it's a good technique which I completely ignored because I played wrong technique. Now my technique is well right. Now all I need is a metronome and with this right technique I will be playing as fast george benson.
