I really learned alot from george benson. Hes main number one guy in my top influential players. For it used to be jonathan dubose and terence young. But what Im still trying to get used to how george benson plays his scales so fast, but what I did take from him was how he would move a chord up or down the guitar fretboard like say for instance You started out on playing an D9 and you wanted to get to for chromaticism you moved Db9 to C9 youy would get a chromatic bass line. By the way which leads me this does anyone know anyelse chromatic bass line for chords. I gave one example. I know that theres chromatic bass line movement for 6/9 chords but thats just what all I know so far for the I and IV chords.
