Not all but most are lulled asleep by the powers that be and they don’t want to wake up.
Waking up means dealing with the error in their lives, and that’s not something most modern day Christians are ready to do. So, with no fortitude at all, they stand back and allow the devil to deceive them to this end.
There is a lull going forth in society as a whole. It seems to increase as the years progress. I'm afraid that after so long only a remnant will remain and truly the love of many will wax cold. By the time an awakening takes place it may be too late for the majority.
