Among the "modifications" performed are the removal of the 22nd fret, retrofitting a 6-screw vibrato bridge to the body, and addition of Kluson- style tuners. I know that there are some people who prefer "vintage" styled Strats over the American Standard, but what we have here is the end result of a sudden and uncontrollable fit of madness. Why not sell the American Standard and give it a home where it will be loved and cared for and use the proceeds from the sale towards a more vintage-correct model -the Road Worn series is pretty nice. And you would get a professionally done relic job at that.
So remember kids; just because you CAN modify something doesn't mean that you SHOULD!
