Hmmm . . . . I've thought of this often. We are to be wise, and yet, "trusting" the Lord means not being afraid of anything. God gives us wisdom, but should we be overtly "concerned" about such things? I don;t know, the Sr. Pastor of my church and I have often talked of such things. He believes in life insurance; I believe in "The Blessing". I believe in the principle of giving and taking no thought of what I shall wear, eat, and etcetera. However, a lot of my Baptist and SDA pals (barely saved you know . . .*Grin) are always up in a tither about their savings, storehouse accounts, and life insurance.

Praise God! If someone steals my identity, they'll have a pile of trouble trying to explain why they have to perfom at so many Gospel festivals and why there no credit cards or other forms of credit/debt available to them . . .lol.

No.  Waste of money.  Its just up to us to be vigilant in safe guarding.  Change your passwords regularly, dont give out personal info loosely, and be VERY careful of doing any kind of personal business on public wifi (esp places like starbucks and airplanes).  http://blog.laptopmag.com/9-tips-to-stay-safe-on-public-wi-fi  I saw an article where theres an app that can pull up the public wifi list and every person logged in, and there was a way to hack in their FB or other places as them.  It was real easy and wasnt tech sophisticated.  Another tip is to photocopy everything pertinent in your wallet (CCs, license, insurance info) so in the case that it gets stolen, you still have access to info and know how to call and cut cards off, etc.  Check your credit and get reports.

Also in the event that your wallet/pocketbook is stolen, GET A POLICE REPORT.  My wallet was stolen way back in 2004.  Aside from the guy buying some jewelry, he also got DirectTV (a whole other story) and some other things.  If it wasnt for that document, I would have been up the creek without a paddle.  Even yrs later I would get letters from creditors for something that was in my name, but once I stated the police report, they would leave me alone.
Praise Him!
