Hi guys. Do you guys practice with pedals? Or do you practice with the guitar alone?

It depends on weather or not I have the house to myself  .  Actually, I do most of my practicing unplugged.

  I actually have a small practice amp to play on for practice. Funkstrat I been working on playing chromatics. I useth to play my chromatics at an angle now I play my chromatics like everyone else does where your wrist is turn or bent to the right while playing chromatics. And as always like gtrdave said you learn something new everytime - keep practicing you guys. ^_^

Actually, I do most of my practicing unplugged.

Same here. I have a guitar in my office and I practice unplugged all the time.
At home I might plug into an amp, or I might just use my acoustic.

Sometimes I practice with the loop function on my multifx processor, but for the most part I practice unplugged since it's most convenient and I don't have to be stuck to my amp. If I intend to practice using my pedals, then, yeah, I use them so that I can be familiar with them and stuff. But that's pretty rare.

I try to avoid practicing with distortion if it's not necessary, as it can mask a lot of flaws in one's playing.

Yeah I hear ya. Today, I didn't practice with distortion either.
