......does the MKS-20 sound like a harpsichord? What is it that makes this sound so sought after? In my opinion there is something about this sound that makes dissonance sound more dissonant. I dont know. Just a thought...

Certain notes you played do sound pianioish. It sounds like a piano/ep/harpsichord layer. If I could layer on this cheap Yamaha I would test it out to see if there is a similar sound.
