Glasstone Sound

This is created/run by a brother from MD who is also a pastor. He started doing this as a hobby.. Good stuff there.. I would love to get one of his basses.. I havew a Lil G cab that I got used and it is a nice cab. I got yhe one without the 4/8 ohm switch.. mine is just an 8 ohm 212.

Fellow Glasstone  Lil G owner here!

Hands down...the best cab I've ever owned....I sold my Eden D410XLT because of it! Nothing really compares to it....especially at the price. I'm in the process of ordering a new one...they've made a whole lot of improvements to them since the first batch. I have the 4/8ohm switch and the luggage cart attached..

Have you played one of his basses yet? In a word: STUPID. He made one that had a graphite FRETBOARD!!! They're super comfortable to play and he'll make them with just about any pickup/pre config you want!

I haven't heard from Sammie in a while, I know he was battling a pretty serious sickness

Yeah I heard that too... about his illness.. I have not played any of the basses but I would love to get one.. The Lil G I have is an older one I thing with that handle/tilt stand.. That is the only thing I don't like about it but that is so minor.. The cab is great.

Late response, but I talked to Sammie about two weeks ago....he has revamped the Lil G speaker line. He's added two 5" mid drivers and offers a cab with a built in 1400w power amp, which is pretty crazy. All you'll need is a preamp of some sort and you're set. The cabs are a little bit bigger though, and I imagine the weight has increased by 10lb or so, but I expect that they still sound great. The cabs are greatly improved with Tolex covering and corner wheels built into the cab. I'll be checking one out in the next week or so.

You also may wanna check out Boom Bass Cabinets too, also made by a local guy in MD. Similar style, great tone, and lightweight....he makes a 12"x15" that I'm really interested in.

Thanks.. I am not really in the market.. at thisd point I am not playing much outside of church and the gear I have will do the job... but you know how that ever present quest for perfection goes..
