What Could You Do
« on: April 15, 2015, 07:53:48 AM »
As I was waking up this morning.  I heard just a little bit of a story on GMA where they stated that it may soon be possible for a person to control a plane by laptop or some computer device.  I immediately thought that maybe the day is soon approaching where we may have to self-identify before accessing a computer or just the internet at first.  If you refused to self-identify, what could you do in reference to earning a living, providing food for you family, and/or necessities of life?  How dependent are we now or are we getting upon computers?  We all know the times of the end is indeed coming.

some type of blue collar work. Might get me a couple of lawns to mow, and a rake; I heard rich people hate leaves

Now that you guys mention it.  I could probably get my fish hustle on.  I try to go fishing every week.  I guess it would become an occupation  :).  I'm also in my fourth year of gardening so I guess I could sell some organic crops for a STEEP price.

maintain a computer

power outages (we do have extreme weather)
Solar fares knock out a lot of communication

check out this cookbook a computer made http://www.engadget.com/2015/04/12/ibm-watson-cookbook/

the computer purposely tried unusal combinations

And this same computer can already replace a few doctors

A computer can hold a conversation with you

And a computer can take care of the elderly and our children if wanted them to.

There are instances where railroad locomotives are operated via remote control which eliminates the need for an engineer in certain switching applications.  But on a bigger scale, computers are becoming "intelligent" (and faster) and robotics are being viable for a variety of industries.  We could very well see the day when we are no longer a competitive option see a substantial reduction in demand for human labor.

That computer wouldn't stand a chance at Southwest High School in Macon, Georgia.  It would be dismantled before the close of the first day.  Maybe it would stand a chance of the Board would allow it to apply electro shocks or some type of tazer.   ;D ;D ;D

That is when we will see mass incarcerations and executions. Possibly people being more valuable as parts since their labor will not be needed.
