I couldn't believe that he actually got booed a few years back at a concert.. he was not feeling or playing very well...  which is understandable given his age.. and some folks had the nerve to boo him..

I probably would have lost it and slapped them had I been there... seriously.

It was almost like losing a personal really good friend.  I saw one of his later concerts, and there were indications that he wasn't acting quite right,  but he still had a strong voice,  even though he seemed to tire easily. (on U-Tube) An argument could be made that he tried to perform too long.  He loved what he was doing, though,  and who can blame him  for staying to the end.  All I can say is that I really liked his music from my childhood on.  His awards speak for him.  Rest In Peace,  B. B. King.
