What's up with the hypnotic praise and worship sound that is in some of the modern CCM style churches? In some ways it cool and in some ways it's kinda creepy.

Back in the late 90's-early-00's my dad and I used to joke that CCM P&W music was Christian rave music, lol

Well....CCM was quite a diverse offering of music back then, but praise & worship music sounded like an aerobic exercise track to me; especially being used to the choir sound of that era.

Yeah, I feel you. But back then we still thought Christian music had a unique distinct sound and style... lol.
