Hypnotic Praise and Worship
« on: September 18, 2015, 08:21:24 AM »
What's up with the hypnotic praise and worship sound that is in some of the modern CCM style churches? In some ways it cool and in some ways it's kinda creepy.  :D
Vision without action is just day dreaming. I miss practicing.

You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination.  That's the signpost up ahead - your next stop; the Worship Experience.

Well....CCM was quite a diverse offering of music back then, but praise & worship music sounded like an aerobic exercise track to me; especially being used to the choir sound of that era.

Yeah, I feel you. But back then we still thought Christian music had a unique distinct sound and style... lol.
