FILLING IN THE GAPS...HOW TO GET FROM ONE POINT TO ANOTHER!
« Reply #1 on: December 23, 2005, 11:04:55 AM »
Thanks again for the videos uriah. I sometimes wonder when too much is too much in basslines. When you listen to slow songs they play the basslines one note at a time sometimes with no fills at the beginning of a song. I was playing Ty Tribbet Everything this week with a keyboardist and drummer. It was missing something. The keyboardist was playing kinda whack in a way. He does that sometimes meaning he was not padding but playing choppy and crazy.  :D So it made it feel like I needed to do more of which I could not do. We sounded like beginners to me when we shouldnt have eventhough Im a beginner on bass.
Vision without action is just day dreaming. I miss practicing.
