Donnie McClurkin New CD

I bought Donnie McClurkin new CD on yesterday and I must say that it is a Worship Experience and he is very anointed.  I would admonish everyone to buy this CD because the man is anointed like crazy.  Donnie will take you into a level of worship that is true because he comes out of his self and he trust and depends on the LEADING OF THE SPIRIT.  I feel that worship as a whole should not be based on phat chords and nice licks, it should be based on the anointing and the moving of the spirit and as musicians we should be very sensitive to the spirit.
Say hello to my little friend!!!!

Donnie McClurkin is my all time Favorite artist. That brother is ANOINTED!!!! I too picked up the cd yesterday. I love it.

Yesterday, I also bought Micah Stampley's cd. If you like Donnie, you'll love Micah. He has that Donnie McClurkin sound and flavor. That's another must have cd.

Did I read somewhere that Donnie is leaving the music industry??  It was either him or some other gospel artist.  The reason for leaving, I hear, is so that he can spend more of his time pastoring his church.  Anybody else hear this?

Yes, that what he said in an interview. He is recording the McClurkin Project this weekend, and I believe that will be it for him.

FROM GOSPELFLAVA.COM

http://www.gospelflava.com/news.html

Donnie McClurkin Not Retiring Yet—  After various news media reported that Donnie McClurkin would be soon retiring from the Gospel music industry, McClurkin has stepped forward to clarify that he has a few years to go before he completely leaves the music world behind him and that he is excited and geared up for the release of his upcoming new project. In a statement, he said, "I love pastoring my church in New York and that's where my heart is, but it's a long way off. I've got a few more albums in me that I know need to come out". McClurkin's next project, Psalms, Hymns & Spirituals Songs, releases on April 5, 2005. (March 28, 2005)

That's good to hear if you ask me
