I saw LaDell Abrams last May playing on the Throne Room Tour with CeCe Winans. The last city was here Memphis so I went and he showed out. His style has changed alot since he played on the last Any Day album with John P. Kee. But most young drummers sound like that. If you think he was cold back then wait to you hear him now.

YEA!  I have the live from the throne room dvd and i watch it just about everyday. Ladell's playing has graduated tremdously since Any Day. His pocket is tight and his solos are just what they should be. He playing is a standard for gospel drummers all over the world.

I think Ladell sounded like that on the Any Day album because thats a style all young drummers have when they start progressing over the years. But as he got older his style playing started to mature.
