Title: How do i connect keyboard to computer with B4 program

How do you connect an Alesis 7.1 keyboard with midi cables to an laptop or PC could you give me instructions on how or a guide, I want to use the B4 program , or any other native instrument programs with my Alesis keyboard, and am looking for any other Native instrument software to use with my key board. Do you know or know of any one who could give me instructions. Do you need a certain type of midi cable. In my manual it aslo said i could connect to my computer through a serial cable. I'm really just trying to learn how to do this. Any info would help thanks.
