Hi.
Does anyone know any software that makes it easy to harmonise a melody? Or better still a software that will harmonise the melody once you play it in. Please help. Thanks

I know that the H3000 and H8000
(not software, but hardware) have harmonizing capabilities but its sometimes not what you want to hear. You can set the interval to different settings but like I said, you might often hear what you dont want to.

Thanks. I'll try that and see what I could come up with. Do you have an idea of the price or where I can get it?
Have you heard of Band in a box software?
Many thanks.

PG Music has a program that does Vocal Harmonizing and other features. They have a website. I think it is www.pgmusic.com

Hi brother Mark.
Thanks for that. I've already ordered the PG band-in-a-box and waiting to check it out. They have another one 'powertracks pro audio'. I'm not sure which of them is better. thanks.

The PowerTraks program is similiar to Cakewalk and Sonar not as complicated but also no where as powerful. It can do a lot things such as recording, midi and vocal harmony. As stated in one of the post you may not get what you are looking for in harmony but there are parameters and slide controls to change the sound and shape of what you are doing. There are also guitar programs that can add harmony. Not really sure what all you doing. This PowerTraks cost around 60 dollars. Which is not bad. The lowest Cakewalk is 100 dollars. Pray, may God bless you in your endeavors.

Thanks brother.
All points well taken. As I mentioned in another post, I am about to start a comunity gospel choir in Bedford-UK. I haven't got any musicians apart from myself yet. So I want to work on some tracks to start with, and also due to lack of time a software to make harmonising parts for the choir easier. I'd appreciate any tips in starting this mission.
Many thanks.
