Title: Speaking of the Reunion

What's up, Daryl?  It's about 6 months away now  :lol: Folks need to save their nickels to make the trip.  Do you need any help planning things?  
Maybe Herman can help...lol.  Just kidding!!

I've decided to withdraw for now from grad school, so I do have a little more time for other things now.  Let me know if you'd like some INPUT from a female perspective (since that's mostly who attended was females).

  HOw are you doing.  :)  If you, or amyone have any ideas on how the Union should happen this year, feel free to Private Messege them to me at anytime.  I'm actually working on some things as we speak.  Just let me know what you think.

Same here...I'm willing to help.

It is definitly time to publicize the event. The Gospel Workshop of America is in August and they begin publicizing last August!

Why am I a "Guest"?  I'm kinda insulted now that I noticed that.  

Yes, I have many ideas for the Reunion.  
1. Registration
2. Registration Fee
3. Deadline for the Registration
4. Deadline for the Fee
5. Scheduled time for each teacher
6. Register in advance for the Workshop you wish to participate in.
7. A church with a commitment to host us for Sunday morning service. By that, meaning host us for a facility for refreshments (a good ole' baptist chicken eatin' festival!) We'll pay the church mothers to do it.  We can then have a conclusion business meeting (plan for next year) and prayer. That's what they did at my mom's high school reunion and that was the 45th!!! They must be doing something right!
8. A hotel/Workshop location w/in walking distance of some activities...at minimum a short cab ride or 5 minute drive

There's for starters.  Don't say no one came with any ideas!  :wink:

Let me know what I can do to help in anyway.

   I have all of those covered so far except for 7.   In regards to 8, the hotel we were in last year was only 10 minute from downtwon.
   BTW, you were a 'Guest' because you wasn't logged in.

OK on the guest thing.  

We were 10 minutes from downtown!!!  We simply "chose" to be lead 30 minutes away to eat at a Red Lobster & a Ryan's.  We need to make better "choices" next time.  That's what I tell my kids: It's a choice...what do you choose to do?  :wink:

Not to call any names HERMAN but it was his idea to drive across town and then not show up to meet us :)  (where is he anyways) :D
