Title: A Question For the Experts
Post by: RevChas on July 11, 2005, 10:17:52 PM
This may sound like a silly question, but I'll ask anyway.  Since most keyboards have organ voices, do you play the organ on a keyboard like you would play the piano on the keyboard?  Are there specific techniques you use when playing the organ voice

Thanks & God Bless

in most cases, when playing the organ on a keyboard, you usually have a bass p-layer, so you do what you would do if you were on an organ.........you still want to keep chords close, keep transitions smooth as possible! avoid big chords! i say look for the closes inversions......

Also I you need to remember if you really want the organ sound on the keyboard to sound like a real one you cannot use the extention peddle because there is not one on a real organ.
